Euro tour locations and dislocated shoulders. TSWAM! 2008.03.16
In a little less than a month we'll hit the road again, the tour starting the 9th of april in Copenhagen. Check out the dates, maybe we'll visit a venue close to you. In case you missed it, our debut album The Snake Was a Mistake is now out. It hasn't reached the distributors yet, but get in touch if you want a copy and we'll take care of it for you. A vinyl version is also planned and is hopefully released in a couple of months. Some bad news though. Joel was forced to go through surgery as his shoulder kept dislocating itself. We are really sad he can't go on the tour with us and we hope to have him back as soon as possible. On the other hand, we are really happy Leaders Off guitarist Simon Järpvik is able to fill this vacant place for the upcoming tour and shows. Welcome Simon!

Thank you very much to everyone who made the Snake Tour possible. Thanks to all the great audiences,all the nice people and, of course, all the amazing promoters. We had the time of our lives visiting all these beautiful places and we can't wait to get back out on the road.

Now we're getting ready to conquer Sweden as well, a release show will be held at Café Mic in Vänersborg on the 30th on november. But we won't be able to wait that long, so the weekend before this you will be able to see us perform in Eskilstuna and Sandviken. Date and information about a release show in Gothenburg will also be posted soon. Don't miss that!


Snake tour 2007.10.14
At the moment we are out on an european tour and we are having the time of our lives. One week done, more than one to go. Last week we also picked up our new album, The Snake Was A Mistake, that is available for purchase during our "Snake Tour". An official release date and release show will be announced very soon. BIOGRAPHY

Affordable Hybrid is a four-piece act formed 2003 in Vänersborg, Sweden. After some line-up changes and a change of musical direction the band found the sound that they were looking for. It can be described as a mix of postpunk and hardcore, in the veins of bands such as Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi and At the Drive-in. In late 2004 Affordable Hybrid recorded their CDEP"Maladroit Missile" that was later to be released on the small, independent label Gunsmoke Records. This release was followed by gigs all over Sweden and the borders to Germany, Denmark and Norway were also crossed. During spring and summer of 2007 the band's debut album was recorded by Dieter Schöön at Lablaza Studios, Gothenburg. The record is called "The Snake Was a Mistake" and the tour that followed "The Snake Tour". Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland all had a visit from the snake and now it's time for Sweden and the rest of the world to see what the great lable Tell Me That You Love Me and Affordable Hybrid have been working on for the last six months.
